What is SAVA?

The Steeple Aston Village Archive (SAVA) was one of the first village archives in North Oxfordshire. We are a community volunteer, non-profit-making project, officially opened on 25th September 2001. We are a purely local archive containing information and items which reflect the life, times and environment of the villages of Steeple and Middle Aston.

Our main objective is to collect as much local information as possible about our villages - past and present - and to make it easily accessible to everyone. If you would like to donate items,  help with our projects, or help by sponsoring the archive, we would be delighted to hear from you.
